Poole Dream Machines Bike of the Night 9 July 19
10th July 2019
Last night over 700 bikes rode down to Poole Quay for a warm summer evening of Coles Miller Dream Machines. Congratulations to Dave Peach from Poole with his BMW R80. Dave rode home with the special prize of a bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd.
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Coles Miller Solicitors, is organised and managed by the BCP Tourism Office and part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
Chris Smith, from DocBike a charity dedicated to eradicating motorcycle deaths through engagement, injury prevention, education & roadside critical care, said; “I chose the bike because it was a really high quality custom build.”
Coles Miller Dream Machines sees the largest weekly motorcycle meet in the South taking place every Tuesday evening from 6pm, April – September. From the latest superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes, Poole Quay and Harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere. And with a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks to enjoy during the event, it is the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat.
Dream Machines is a fully marshalled and self-funded event. Entry is £1.50 per night. Alternatively season armbands are available from Poole Museum, the Lord Nelson and the Fish & Chip Kiosk on Poole Quay for £8 giving entry for the entire season.
