Whatever your budget and taste, you will find somewhere truly spectacular to get married in Poole. From weddings on the water’s edge to an elaborate ceremony and wedding breakfast in a grand historical house, you can organise your own legal ceremony in Poole in the historic Guildhall, built in 1761. It’s right in the heart of Poole’s Old Town and is the home of the Borough of Poole’s Registration Services. Then why not try one of our many venues to continue your celebrations into the night?
If you are looking for glamour combined with stunning views across Poole Bay, then look no further than The Haven, The Sandbanks, or the Harbour Heights hotel. Their wedding teams can help you plan every detail and will ensure your special day runs smoothly. If you want more of a town centre location, then check out Hotel Du Vin just off the Quayside or The Thistle Hotel overlooking Poole Harbour.
Further along the coast, there is the 1930’s Branksome Dene Room, a small intimate venue with wonderful views across to the Purbecks and direct access to the beach.
If a wedding banquet is more what you had in mind, then take a look at Scaplen’s Court, a mediaeval Grade I listed building in the centre of Poole. Or if you want a unique wedding venue in a more contemporary setting, then the RNLI can host your wedding reception and ceremony.
If it’s glamour and beautiful gardens you are looking for, then the Italian Villa at Compton Acres provides a true fairy tale wedding venue with direct access to the phenomenal Italian Gardens surrounding the venue and award-winning gourmet food.
There are even options to hold your reception afloat with one of our boat operators, and what better way to spend it than cruising through Poole Harbour aboard a fully catered boat?
Take a look at our restaurants page for other venue options to hold a small celebratory reception after your ceremony.
Now all that remains is to decide when and where.
