Poole is an ideal location for events with its south coast climate and jaw-dropping views, not to mention award-winning beaches!

Poole Quay is definitely a must-visit in the summer months. There are some great events that transform the Quay, including the biggest and best weekly bike meet, summer entertainment and fireworks, and annual themed days.

Poole is a destination that attracts top-class sporting events, such as the British Beach Polo Championships in July on Sandbanks Beach. The Lighthouse, Poole's Centre for the Arts, has a packed programme of events. Home to the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, you can enjoy a year-round programme of national and international events including music, dance, comedy, visual arts, film, theatre, and workshops. You can take in a symphony, see world-class theatre, British and mainstream films, or enjoy an exciting family-friendly performance at the UK's largest regional arts centre.

As well as being home to the story of Poole's rich history, Poole Museum has a popular programme of changing exhibitions throughout the year. Poole Museum is temporarily closed for redevelopment.

Enjoy the outdoors for one of the varied events that happen in parks in the area, such as Poole Park or Upton Country Park. There are often fun events and sometimes wildlife-themed ones to take advantage of Poole's unique nature treasures.
