You are here: Home > Your Visit > Poole Weather
Poole is a destination enjoyed year-round, with average temperatures rarely dropping below the 3-degree mark. You can expect to enjoy plenty of hot weather in Poole, with temperatures often exceeding the 20-degree mark during the months of May, June, July, August, and September. Due to Poole being a coastal town, you can expect many areas, such as the beaches and harbourside, to be warmer than many inland areas of the UK.
Although summer is arguably one of the best times of the year to enjoy Poole, spring is also a rather popular time to visit as the weather is typically milder than in other parts of the UK in March, April, and May. A visit to Poole Park is recommended during the spring, as you can enjoy a stroll around the lake while taking in the flowering trees and nature.
The coldest and wettest months usually fall in December, January, and February, but it’s not unusual for the sun to be shining during those months, which offer visitors pleasant walking weather along the stunning Poole beaches.
