Or if you need to get away from it all, then breeze around the Jurassic Coast on one of the many cruises that take place throughout the summer.

Poole is brimming with fantastic eateries, and due to its location, it has some fantastic fish and seafood restaurants. If you fancy a special meal out, then there are some fabulous views to be enjoyed across Poole Harbour or meander around Poole Quay, and you can enjoy everything from scallops to fish and chips.
If you are taking part in a spot of retail therapy in the town‘s Kingland Road and Dolphin Centre, then rest and refresh in one of the many fantastic tea rooms or cafes or enjoy a drink in a traditional pub.
Beyond the beach
If it’s culture you crave then why not have a day out and visit some of our museums and castles. Poole Quay is home to Poole Museum and Scaplen’s Court, with everything from art to archaeology, it tells the story of Poole’s maritime history and is both fascinating and educational. Poole Museum is temporarily closed for redevelopment.
