Poole Dream Machines - Bike of the Night 17th July

Over 600 bikes lined up and on Poole Quay on Tuesday 17 July for a fantastic night of Poole Dream Machines, sponsored by Dutton Gregory.
Congratulations to Richard Stephens from Poole who won the weekly ‘Bike of the Night’ title with his BSA Spitfire Scrambler. Richard, said : "The bike is only about a 1400 and was built for the US market as a desert racer.” He rode home with the special prize of bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd. Judge on the night, bike enthusiast Bill Willett, said: "This one stood out for me because of the brilliant restoration which has returned it to stunning original form.”
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Dutton Gregory Solicitors, is organised and managed by the Poole & Bournemouth Tourism office and part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
Poole Dream Machines sees the largest weekly motorcycle meet in the South taking place every Tuesday evening from 6pm, April – September. From the latest superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes, Poole Quay and Harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere. And with a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks to enjoy during the event, it is the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat.
For avid bikers, a limited stock of season armbands from the Poole Tourist Information Centre within Poole Museum, or available from Quayside Emporium, the Lord Nelson or the Fish and Chip kiosk. Armbands give easy access to the whole season for just £8. Alternatively, riders can pay £1 per bike on the evening.
