Poole Dream Machines Bike of the Night 19 June 2018
20th June 2018
Nearly 700 riders came down on a gorgeous summer evening to Poole Dream Machines motorcycle event last night.
Congratulations to Steve Trawley from Chandlers Ford who won the weekly ‘Bike of the Night’ title with his Kawasaki H2. Ian said: "Kawasaki's are in my blood. I owned a Z1 in 1975 then a GT750 and a ZZ R1100. When I saw this one I had to own it!". He rode home with the special prize of bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd.
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Dutton Gregory Solicitors, is organised and managed by the Poole & Bournemouth Tourism office and part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
Judge on the night, Jorge Henley from Quayside Emporium, said: "I chose the bike because it of its power and the mental strength it takes to ride such a beast."
Poole Dream Machines sees the largest weekly motorcycle meet in the South taking place every Tuesday evening from 6pm, April – September. From the latest superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes, Poole Quay and Harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere.
