Poole Dream Machines Bike of the Night 11 June 19
12th June 2019
Last night an advance party of rampaging pirates took to Poole Quay as judges for Coles Miller Dream Machines. The motley crew’s raid was in preparation for Harry Paye Pirate Day, when the pirate horde will descend on Poole Quay on Saturday 15 June to celebrate the 600th anniversary of Poole’s favourite Pirate son.
Congratulations to Martin Arnold who survived the skirmish winning this week’s ‘Bike of the Night’ title with his vintage BSA. Martin rode home with the special prize of a bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd.
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Coles Miller Solicitors, is organised and managed by the BCP Tourism Office and part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
The Pirates, said; “This beauty of bike is a landlubbers dream. At 60 year’s old and in mint condition, it caught every pirate’s eye and as everyone knows we’re know a thing or two about spotting a real gem!”
