29th August 2018
Nearly 600/700 riders came down on a cool Summer's evening to Poole Dream Machines motorcycle event last night.
Congratulations to Doug Freeman who won the weekly 'Bike of the Night' title with his Yamaha RD 400 motorcycle. Doug said: "I have owned the bike for three years and in that time done a complete restoration to the original specification, including every nut and bolt' . He rode home with the special prize of bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd.
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Dutton Gregory Solicitors, is organised and managed by the Poole & Bournemouth Tourism office and part of Poole's Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
Judge on the night, local enthusiast Tony Day, said: "I chose the bike because it stood out for me and was beautifully restored."
