Branksome Chine offers great sandy beaches and stunning views across the coastline. Its Blue Flag status attracts both locals and visitors. It offers a range of facilities, including a beach shop, a car park situated next to the beach and a popular cafe and bar.

Facilities

We have the following facilities available:
- public toilets, including disabled
- drinking water
- cafe and bar
- beach shop
- lifeguarded area from May to September
- volleyball net hire during the summer
- seasonal beach office

For wheelchair users one beach accessible wheelchair is available from Branksome Chine Beach office.  Available May to September on a first come, first served basis from 9:30am to 4:30pm,  users need to pay a fully refundable £50 cash deposit.  Please note there is no pre-booking service for the wheelchairs.

Four fixed electric beach BBQs are available from early summer until October, between 10am to 10pm, on a first come, first serve basis. Free to use, the environmentally friendly hot plate design is perfect for sharing on this family friendly beach. The communal BBQs will help beach visitors reduce litter and leave only footprints after a day on the sand. The clever timer system is designed to give 20 minutes cooking time with an auto switch off system.  Two of the BBQs are wheelchair accessible. Dogs

Dogs are not allowed on Branksome Chine during the summer season from 1 May to 30 September. Dogs are allowed on all Poole beaches during the winter, from 1 October to 30 April. Always keep dogs on a lead on the promenade.
