February means that romance and pancakes are in the air, giving us opportunities to spend time with those closest to us. With half-term just around the corner, it's the perfect moment to discover the exciting upcoming activities and events that will keep your little ones entertained during the break.
With winter in full swing, be sure to wrap up warm for trips out as the weather is frosty and fresh. Indoor activities might be needed, and it is easy to find something for all the family in the centre of Poole; come and visit the Dolphin Centre for a spot of shopping and treat yourself to a well-deserved cup of coffee and a slice of cake.
As well as an excellent choice of eateries, Poole offers enjoyable activities for everyone. If you're inclined to explore the outdoors with a scenic stroll, Poole Park awaits, promising a breath of fresh air - playing a round of crazy golf is also a must. Upton Country Park is a lovely location for a family day out – let the little ones enjoy Spurrier’s play park, then enjoy a visit to the tea rooms and admire the walled gardens. Pancake day is always a crowd-pleaser, but if flipping pancakes at home isn’t for you, there are an array of cafés and restaurants offering pancakes and more!
