Poole Dream Machines Bike of the Night 11 September 2018
12th September 2018
Nearly 200 bikes lined up for Poole Dream Machines last night.
Congratulations to Kevin Rockett who won the weekly ‘Bike of the Night’ title with his army green Brockhouse Corgi and rode home with the special prize of bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd. Judge on the night, Terri Allard, said: "I chose it because it's an unusual bike that catches the eye and is here every week." Winner Kevin Rockett, said: "The bike is a special one because it folds down so it can be dropped out of aircraft."
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Dutton Gregory Solicitors, is organised and managed by the Poole & Bournemouth Tourism office and part of Poole’s Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
Poole Dream Machines sees the largest weekly motorcycle meet in the South taking place every Tuesday evening from 6pm, April – September. From the latest superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes, Poole Quay and Harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes for riders and spectators. With a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks to enjoy during the event, it is the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat.
Riders can pay £1 per bike on the evening for entrance to the site. The final night of the season takes place on 25 September, when all of the weekly Bike of the Night winners will be invited back to compete in the Bike of the Year finale. With voting open to the public, who wins - you decide!
