Poole dream machines bike of the night April 23rd 2019
24th April 2019
A pleasant Spring evening saw upto 530 motorbikes come along to enjoy the fourth evening of this year’s Coles Miller Dream Machines motorcycle event on Poole Quay on 16 April.
The popular weekly event is organised and managed by the Tourism office of the new BCP Council, and is sponsored by Coles Miller Solicitors LLP.
The event sees the largest weekly motorcycle meet in the South, taking place every Tuesday evening from 6pm, April – September. From the latest superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes, the Quay and Harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere. And with a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks to enjoy during the event, it is the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat.
Congratulations to attending motorcyclist Richard Bloomfield who won the weekly ‘Bike of the Night’ title with his green and cream Triumph. He rode home with the special prize of bike cleaning kit courtesy of Muc-Off Ltd
Judge for the evening was Anna Doyle, publican of the Lord Nelson Public House. She awarded the prize “because of its attractiveness that stood out amongst all of the other bikes attending”.
If you’re an avid biker, don't forget Coles Miller Dream Machine season armbands are on sale from the Poole Tourist Information Centre within Poole Museum, or available from the Lord Nelson or the Fish and Chip kiosk. Armbands give access to the whole season for just £8.
