Poole Dream Machines - Bike of the Night 01st May
2nd May 2018
A cool evening on Poole Quay with the threat of showers saw up to nearly 400 motorbikes come along to enjoy the Poole Dream Machines motorcycle event.
The popular weekly event, sponsored by Dutton Gregory Solicitors, is organised and managed by the Poole & Bournemouth Tourism office, and part of the Wave 105 Summertime in the South events programme.
The event sees the largest weekly motorcycle meet in the South, taking place every Tuesday evening from 6pm, April – September. From the latest superbikes and custom builds to vintage classics and trikes, the Quay and Harbour offer the perfect location to show off a superb range of motorbikes where bikers and spectators enjoy a unique relaxed atmosphere. And with a great selection of waterside cafes, bars, restaurants and food kiosks to enjoy during the event, it is the perfect place to relax and have a bite to eat.

Judges for the evening were local Colin Baker and Dave Northern, and thy awarded the prize “because the bike was all original, and in immaculate condition”.
If you’re an avid biker, don't forget we have a limited stock of season armbands from the Poole Tourist Information Centre within Poole Museum, or available from Quayside Emporium, the Lord Nelson or the Fish and Chip kiosk. Armbands give access to the whole season for just £8. Alternatively it is £1 per bike on the evening.
