Easyriders motto is ‘making watersports easy’ and they certainly do that. The staff are friendly, approachable, and inclusive and with over 25 years’ experience, founder Andy has a vast knowledge of most watersports. They are also the only dedicated kiteboarding, stand up paddleboarding, foil and wing watersports school in Dorset. You could take a tour of the stunning Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island on an SUP tour. Or if you want something a little more exhilarating, have a go at foiling or wingsurfing (yes, that is a thing!) They even run a ladies’ night so you can socialise whilst learning a new hobby.
Powerboat Training UK
Started in 2000, this family run school runs powerboat and Jetski courses. If you have always wanted to learn a new skill or own a boat and want to gain a qualification, then this is a great place to come for all the family. Paul, Viv and their team are professional, friendly and experts in the field so you will be in very safe hands.
Poole Harbour Watersports
Situated in Sandbanks, all their tuition is based in Poole Harbour which is the perfect place to learn kayaking, kitesurfing or wake boarding to name but a few. You can hire and buy a large range of equipment and clothing too. If you get hooked, you might find yourself taking a paddleboard home.
Rockley Watersports
If you’ve always wanted to learn how to sail in a beautiful location, then Rockley is the place for you. Renowned in the area as a great sailing academy they offer beginner youth and adult courses as well as improver and advanced lessons too. They are based in Hamworthy just outside Poole and cater for everyone including groups and birthday parties. They also have a great range of RYA approved sailing courses.
The Watersports Academy
With onsite changing facilities and hot showers, you can spend the day on the water windsurfing or waterskiing and when the day is done, relax and dine in one of the restaurants nearby. With kid’s club sessions no one will be left out. They also have a 44ft Catamaran if you want to explore the Jurassic coastline in true luxury. The Catamaran can be taken out as a sole charter or a group experience and is available all year round.
Superhawk Marine
