Kenneth Branagh’s stunning stage production of Romeo & Juliet, starring Lily James and Richard Madden. Also featuring Sir Derek Jacobi as Mercutio and Meera Syal as The Nurse.

Originally staged in the summer of 2016, the production opened to rave reviews and was broadcast live via satellite that summer. This will be audience’s very first chance to see the play again, having never been re-released or made available elsewhere.

Directed with ‘seriousness and opulence’ (The Mail) by Sir Kenneth Branagh and Rob Ashford, Romeo and Juliet was the fifth play in the inaugural Plays at the Garrick season and filmed for the big screen in black and white CinemaScope.

Includes one 10 minute interval.
