About

From 3rd July to 1st October, 2023, visitors from near and far are invited to experience the charm of the "Into The Wild" sculptures at Compton Acres. The exhibition seamlessly integrates education and entertainment with the summer children's challenge, offering families a wonderful opportunity to explore the sculptures while delving into the conservation messages.

Compton Acres, the esteemed garden in Poole, is delighted to announce the opening of their highly anticipated sculpture exhibition, "Into The Wild," set amidst their breathtaking gardens. Showcasing 36 captivating sculptures from eight talented artists, the exhibition invites visitors to embark on a trail through the garden.

Immerse yourself in the world of art and wildlife as you encounter an exquisite range of exotic animals and native wildlife sculptures, all available for purchase. "Into The Wild" not only showcases stunning visual creativity but also carries a profound message about the importance of wildlife and conservation efforts for the survival of our planet. 1% of sales from 'Into The Wild' will be donated, David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, a UK registered charity (1108693). This amazing organisation is working to raise vital funds supporting front line conservation projects which help secure a future for endangered wildlife in their natural habitat. Some of these causes are highlighted throughout the exhibition.

Compton Acres is honoured to host the exceptional works of renowned artists including Tanya Russell, Suzie Marsh, Elliott of London, Marjan Wouda, Ama Menec, and the renowned Rock Art, which currently showcases stunning 'Shona' sculptures from Zimbabwe in the Plant Centre. Additionally, Compton Acres' own resident sculptor, Brendon Murless, contributes four current and one new piece.
