Heathland heritage walk

About
The lowland health north of Corfe Castle shows many little signs of it's busy domestic and industrial past. From Mesolithic flint scatters, Iron Age round houses and medieval mills to WWII bomb craters, we will explore the clues hidden in the landscape. We will also look at heathland management today from the habitats created for the southern damselfly to the production of heather honey.
