Dorset Street Food Festival

Dorset Street Food Festival | 2nd - 4th September

About

Dorset Street Food Festival finally returns after a 2 year break and this time is heading to Poole! Hosting over 20 of the most delicious street food traders from across the UK, the festival is taking place from Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th September in Baiter Park, Poole (BH15 1UZ). There'll be plenty of quality street food on offer; from Italian, Malaysian and American, to Moroccan, Mexican, Afghan and Spanish you'll be spoilt for choice! Running from 11am - 11pm daily, you'll be able to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert all in one place! And do you want to know the best thing? General entry is FREE! If you want a family friendly, food filled, good vibed day out, then look no further than Dorset Street Food Festival.

The last time the festival took place was in 2019 just down the road in the lovely Lyme Regis! With the long two year break the festival organisers have found a new, amazing location to host this year's event which will now take place in the beautiful coastal town of Poole! The festival is set to be the largest and no doubt tastiest yet, and being just a stone's throw from Poole Quay and hosting harbourside sea views in Baiter Park, the change in venue really is a great move!

Street Food Warehouse, the company behind this festival also runs street food festivals across the Welsh and South West coasts.. From Devon to Swansea and Cornwall to Aberystwyth, they have cemented their reputation hosting deliciously successful events for over 5 years and are so excited to bring their #summerofstreetfood tour to the sunny shores of Poole.

To keep everyone safe the event will be ticketed, with attendees scanning a barcode at the entrance. But fear not, general entry tickets are FREE!!! Anyone can order tickets for their friends and family and even get a queue jump to pass the crowds. Tickets can be found online here:

Dorset Street Food Festival has everyone covered! Carnivores, veggies and vegans alike will all be able to share the fine feast and best Insta-worthy bites the South has to offer! Gluten-Free? That doesn't mean you've got to miss out, most traders offer options for all eaters! Sweet tooth? There'll be enough tempting treats to make your dentist weep. How does a cheeky, chocolate brownie box from Chock Shop sound? Or maybe a biscoff salted caramel stick waffle from Nomad Waffles will do the trick? What about Churros dipped in chocolate? Whatever food you fancy, you'll be spoilt for choice!

Don't worry, Street Food Warehouse hasn't forgotten the need to quench everyone's thirst! The event is joined by a brand new sponsor, Freedom Brewery, who will be supplying refreshing draft beers, poured from ice cold taps all weekend long. Serving the drinks are Pop Up Bar Hire Co who will be fully stocked, serving everything from zesty mojitos and sparkling pink gin, to apple juice and San Pellegrino. Whatever food you choose they're sure to have a drink to match!

The festival has currently announced three of their top traders for 2022 who will be attending. First up, Two Lads Kitchen will be serving the most succulent 24 hour marinated chicken in rich Afghan spices! Wherever these lads go they make anyone who chooses their food very glad and people return year on year, to each festival, to try their famous flavours! Next up are Canoodle, who'll be serving a variety of delicious Pan Asian inspired street food dishes, with hard hitting flavours and portions to sink a boat you won't be disappointed! And finally they have Chock Shop, the renowned chocolate brownie stall, who have so many different brownie combos you'd never imagine possible! Grab a box of four to share or have one to yourself with a melted chocolate topping! For further trader updates, food competitions and general festival information make sure you keep up to date via their social media pages:

Street Food Warehouse has searched high and low to bring Dorset the best variety of street food to graze on. Whether you're a 'stick to what you know' type of eater or a culinary adventurer, there really is something for everyone. They can't guarantee the weather... because this is Great Britain! But what they can guarantee is a free and family-friendly event where you can get your hands on the most vibrant and high quality street food the UK has to offer. And don't forget dogs are welcome too!

Dorset Street Food Festival is the perfect place for the whole family to come and enjoy some delicious food and good vibes and as it's the last weekend of the school holidays, give yourselves and your family a final treat before the new school year starts! It's going to be a delicious weekend and one not to be missed!
