As we head into spring and summer fast approaches we are leaping into action with a host of fantastic events coming to Poole. Whether you're a resident or on holiday there's some great free entertainment planned with fun for all the family.
2024 will see the return of some favourites
- Bike Nights on Poole Quay, the ‘biggest & best’ weekly bike meet in the UK. Held on Poole Quay; convenient for food and drinks and with fantastic views.
- Car Nights on Poole Quay - a stunning get together for car enthusiasts to share their 4 wheels. Theme nights will see either makes such as caterham or genres of vehicle such as Italian Stallions celebrated, check the events listings for more details.
- Poole Quay Summer Fireworks
We also have many one off events and festivals. Celebrate the sights, sounds and smells of the age of steam when mini traction engines come to Poole Quay for Mini Steam on the Quay in July. We'll also go vintage and be hosting various foodie festivals.
2024 on the coast with the most is sure to be fun packed! Look out for events in Poole and also nearby in Bournemouth and Christchurch!

Sandbanks Beach will play host to the British Beach Polo Championships and SandFest this year in July.
So in summer season, the Quay is all a bustle; Tuesdays is bikes and Friday is cars, but the popular Quayside offers a great day or night out throughout the season. From shops to cafes or just sit and watch the boats go by, Poole Quay is a magical place.
The season culminates in a special event on 5th November Firework Night with entertainment and a firework spectacular on Poole Quay.
