We'll be bringing you our free Dancing Terraces event to you once again this summer on the Garden Terrace. Every Friday and Saturday in August from 7pm – 9pm there will be a glorious mix of dance styles and music for everyone to enjoy. From Hip Hop & House to Street Dance, Latin to African, Bollywood to Ceilidh folk dancing fun!

10th August – African Dance with Aida & Cheikh Diop

16th August – Commercial Pop with Wheelchair Dance Company Liberate*

17th August – Latin Fusion with Lawrence James

23 August – Ceilidh with Murphy's Lore

24th August – Bollywood Dance with Kamalesh Borkar

Road Directions

Pavilion Dance occupies approximately a quarter of the Pavilion Theatre complex on the side facing Bournemouth Pier. Approaching from either side of the building, head around towards Bournemouth's iconic Lower Gardens and our main entrance is up the steps on the terrace next to the cafe.

There are 2000 parking spaces within a 10 minute walking distance. The nearest is the Pavilion Theatre (Sat nav BH1 2BU, Westover Road) with alternatives at Bath Road (BH1 2EW). Economical parking is available at Central Car Park on Upper Hinton Road (BH1 2LH) within a 10 minute walk.

Public Transport Directions

By Bus: We are a 3 minute walk to major bus routes, the main bus stops are on Westover Road and Gervis Place. For local services call Morebus on 01202 338 420.

By Train: We are 20 minutes walk from Bournemouth Train Station. For local services call South West Trains on 0845 6000 650 or visit South West Trains, Trainline, or Megabus (for cheap tickets to and from London).
