About

This year's Bourne Free Pride Festival will be taking place on the 5th & 6th July.

The Bourne Free Pride Festival is an annual event held in Bournemouth, celebrating diversity, acceptance, and LGBTQ+ rights. This year's festival is scheduled for 5th July 2024 (Family Fun Night) and 6th July 2024 (Pride in the Park), at Meyrick Park. The two-day event is packed with entertainment, including live performances, stalls, information tents, and three bars. The festival also features a vibrant parade, inspiring speakers, and various opportunities for community engagement and education.

Attending Pride in your local community is not just a celebration; it's a powerful statement of support and inclusivity. It's an opportunity to stand in unity with LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors, showing that you stand for acceptance and equality for all. Pride events often feature vibrant parades, inspiring speakers, and a welcoming atmosphere, fostering connections and understanding among people of diverse backgrounds. By participating, you can help create a more inclusive and accepting society while enjoying a day of joy, love, and solidarity. So, come join the festivities, and together, let's make our local community a place where everyone can be proud of who they are.

Bourne Free is a non-profit charity focused on promoting inclusivity and challenging discrimination. It supports local LGBTQ+ communities through various events and initiatives year-round. The festival aims to foster connections and understanding among people from diverse backgrounds, encouraging everyone to stand for equality and acceptance.
