All aboard! Jump on one of our famous land trains, the best way to discover our beautiful beaches. Simply sit back and enjoy the seafront scenary as we sweep you along the promenade. Trains feature accessible facilities for wheelchair users and well behaved dogs are welcome. Route maps and timetables are available at each stop.

Under 16's must travel with an adult.

 

The brightly coloured fleet including Flotsam and Jetsam will take you to and from:

Heading West:

  • Starting from Bournemouth Pier (West), the train travels to Branksome Chine, with stops at Durley Chine and Alum Chine. 
  • Board the train next to the Oceanarium. 
  • After Easter until May half term - the tran runs on the weekends only. 

 

Heading East:

  • Starting from Bournemouth Pier (East), the train travels to Boscombe, with a stop at Toft Zig Zag (drop off only).
  • Request stop available at East Clff Lift - please inform the drver upon boarding.
  • Board the train next to Harry Ramsden's Restaurant.

* Trains usually run daily from 10am during the high season (Easter to October), subject to change and weather conditions.

Please note trains do not run between 13:00 and 13:30. If you wish to have more information or would like to check service hours, please call the Tourist Information Centre on 01202 123 800.
