About

AFC Bournemouth are a professional football club, formed in 1899, currently playing in the Premier League – the top tier of English Football. They are based at Vitality Stadium.

The club are known as the Cherries and, as well as the men’s first team, also have a women’s team, an under-21 side and the new addition of AFC Bournemouth Warriors, the club’s powerchair football team.

Off the pitch, the club support the local community through their Community Sports Trust. The Trust caters for all through its varied programmes and initiatives that run throughout the year.

Junior Cherries

Our younger fans have the chance to get involved with the club by becoming part of the Junior Cherries. Membership not only includes access to special events, but offers exclusive discounts at local attractions, and opportunities to win unique prizes, as well as giving young fans who haven’t been to Vitality Stadium before the chance to attend their first game.

Hospitality and Events

Vitality Stadium is also home to the club’s in-house events team, Black Label Events. The highly-experienced and dedicated events team provide conferencing and function packages for any occasion.

AFC Business, AFC Bournemouth’s free-to-join business club, hosts monthly networking events and are a long-standing supporter of the local business community in Bournemouth.

Video content including match highlights, press conferences and special features can all be found on afcbTV, the club’s free video content service.

AFC Bournemouth’s club Superstore can be found located between the Vitality Main Stand and the Vitality Steve Fletcher North Stand. Everything from match kit to souvenirs can be purchased in store, or online. The club also has a dedicated merchandise section within Beales department store in Bournemouth town centre.

Map & Directions

Road Directions

The South Stand car park, behind the stadium, costs just £1 to park; it does fill up roughly 75 minutes prior to kick-off, so arrive early. It may take up to 45 minutes to clear after the game.  You can now leave via the south of the car park to exit the park along Gloucester Road, therefore missing the traffic along Kings Park Drive.

Supporters both home and away will also be able to use Harewood College for parking Saturday home games. For free parking just a 10-minute walk from the ground, Harewood College is open from 12.30pm. This parking facility has the advantage of being away from the congestion around Kings Park, while only a short walk to Vitality Stadium, allowing easier access, the car park will be manned by a steward until kick-off and there is no charge for parking.

Alternative parking can be found at Sovereign Shopping Centre for £2 for four hours or £4 for 24 hours.

Several residential roads adjacent to the ground have parking restrictions, which the club asks supporters to adhere to. Where these do not exist, please be mindful of existing drive entrances and avoid parking illegally or unsafely. Enforcement officers are active on matchdays and the club is determined to have ensure matches impact on local residents as little as possible.
