Granny Cousins Ghost Walk

Granny Cousins Ghost Walk

About

Granny Cousins is Back!!!

Yes this summer will see the renowned Ghost Walk of Old Town Poole return to the streets to entertain and share the ancient town’s heritage and ghostly goings on!

The most haunted place in Dorset with its rich history, made Poole the obvious place for a ghost walk. Step behind the Quay, down the lanes and through the tight alleyways and you never know what, or who you might meet!

“This was great fun. Chilling tales told with the background
of Poole Old Town at dead of night!” - Val, Fordingbridge

Actor and storyteller Michele O’Brien has portrayed local Victorian character Granny Cousins. This year we introduce Cockle Kate to join her sidekick 'Red' to take you on an entertaining and informative evening walk telling locals and visitors alike about some of the people that have lived, worked and....haunted this ancient fishing port.

Blood curdling invaders, enraged traders and drunken pirates, they've all been here. Often heralded as Poole’s unknown tourist gem and awarded a Poole Tourism Palm award.

“I especially liked the history, the kids loved the stories and it was great fun
with an amazing atmosphere. Shouldn't be missed!” - MICKSSW - Poole
