The Sandbanks Hotel is situated in a stunning location with direct access to seven miles of beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach plus magical sea views over Poole Harbour, Brownsea Island and Poole Bay.

The hotel prides itself on being family-friendly; and we believe when it comes to family holidays it’s best to keep everybody happy. Mum, Dad, teenagers, toddlers and everyone in-between all need their own holiday heaven. 

For children the beach is possibly the greatest playground from building sandcastles, digging holes, collecting sea shells or just splashing and playing in the surf. For older children the beach is a complete escape from routine and a true reminder of what nature really has to offer. With the fresh sea air in their lungs you’ll be surprised to see your teenager with a new lust for life! Running around happily playing beach games, posing for fun seaside pictures, reading books and merrily chatting whilst watching the sea gently lap at their toes.

If you feel swimming in the sea is a little chilly why not use our heated 10-metre indoor swimming pool available to guests. 

However, if food is more your passion then our eateries will be pleasing to your eyes and taste buds. The Seaview Restaurant and Amalfi Beach Italian Restaurant offering a great choice of cuisine with the most spectacular views over the sea to Studland Bay and Old Harry Rocks.

The Seaview Restaurant offers delicious English-European buffet cuisine. Where adults will delight in traditional to continental dining while children will thoroughly enjoy the choices. There’s also the Sandbanks Beach Club and Pizza On The Beach hut, which are the perfect summertime hangouts situated on the terrace. With steps leading down to the beach, this is the ideal spot to relax whilst the children explore the shore. Plus, it’s adjacent to the hotel’s outdoor sandy playground to keep them entertained whilst parents enjoy some quiet time!

Amalfi Beach Restaurant brings Italian culinary delights to Sandbanks. 
Each dish is cooked with the finesse and passion you’d expect from all our FJB restaurants. Diners will enjoy an array of tasty dishes, jam-packed with delicious flavours and choices to tempt their every visit. Expect favourites such as pizzas, pasta and risottos plus sharing boards, meat dishes including fillet steak and rack of lamb through to fish dishes with stone bass, monk fish and hake. Plus, mouth-watering fresh salads and cheeky starters to get those taste buds in the mood.

For guests who like to get their toes wet why not visit our on-site Watersports Academy offering hire or lessons on paddleboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing - plus Kids Club and RYA Youth Courses too. Alternatively, if that sounds too energetic try sailing with our qualified crew on the FJB luxury 44ft catamaran. There is no better way to explore the stunning Jurassic coastline.
