After returning from a successful boat show in London, Dorset based Rockley Watersports has helped to get more than 1500 individuals on to the water at this year's centrepiece attraction - the spectacular and all new 70 metre indoor Watersports Action Pool. Under the supervision of Rockley Watersports and Neilson instructor's, visitors were given the opportunity to have a go at canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wakeboarding, dinghy sailing and windsurfing free of charge.Rockley Watersports' managing director, Peter Gordon said: "It is very important to introduce individuals to the world of watersports and this year's Boat Show was the perfect opportunity for children and adults to get on the water for the very first time".This year's show also saw the launch of Rockley Watersports' new specialist training brand, Rockley Academy. Rockley Academy will focus on instructor training and professional watersports qualifications across the watersports disciplines of dinghy sailing, windsurfing and powerboating. Peter Gordon said: "We decided to launch Rockley Academy in response to the ever increasing demand for high level instructor training and specialist courses. Rockley Academy draws together our existing instructor training courses and professional watersports training under one internationally recognisable and premium brand".The Rockley Academy launch was supported by ISAF's Women's Match Race World Champion Lucy MacGregor, who, along with Annie Lush and Katie MacGregor, are the first British Team to have ever held the title of ISAF Women's Match Race World Champions.Peter said: We were delighted to have Lucy involved in the launch of our new brand. BBC One's Antiques Roadshow to visit Lulworth Castle 26 Jan 2011
