Savour the flavour of Summer Breeze in Poole

Summer Breeze on the Quay 2017 EventSavour the flavour of summer in Poole as live music, fun and fireworks kick off the first Summer Breeze of the season on Thursday 27 July.

From 7pm, Poole Quay closes to traffic and provides the venue for six Thursday nights of free family fun, magical live music and fire performers before a fabulous firework display over the harbour at 10pm.

Organised by Poole Tourism and sponsored by Tower Park-based motor dealership Breeze Volkswagen, the first Summer Breeze line up will see Samba Panashe link will open in new window get the party started, with rock, funk & Motown from Totog link will open in new window, guitarist & singer Dennis Melia plus Dorset’s finest Ska band Rat Race link will open in new window, supported by Mr Kyps link will open in new window.

As part of Wave 105’s Summertime in the South, the evening’s mix of live performers will see street performers entertaining the crowds, a children’s disco, balloon modellers bouncy castle and children’s rides. 

John Corderoy, Managing Director of Breeze Volkswagen, said: “With a great Summer Breeze line-up planned throughout the summer, we are really proud to be part of something that promotes the town and gives people a way to make the most of the holidays.  It’s a sociable, relaxed evening out which the whole family can enjoy and shows off Poole at its very best.”

So come and savour the traditional waterside pubs, bars and restaurants and enjoy all the ingredients for a great evening out.”

Poole Quay will be closed to vehicles for the event from 6pm.
