BROWNSEA OPEN AIR THEATRE HAVE BEEN THRILLING AUDIENCES FOR ALMOST 50 YEARS AND ALL IN THE NAME OF CHARITY.  It's no surprise that this highly acclaimed company of volunteers has been especially requested by the RSC to be part of their groundbreaking initiative to share skills and showcase Shakespeare to new audiences. 

Australian Beach Polo team to play England at Sandbanks! 16 May 2011


Australian Beach Polo team will be playing against England at the British Beach Polo Championships held on 8/9 July 2011. This will be a first for the two teams to play against each other at the event which will take place for the fourth year on the beautiful Sandbanks Beach in Poole.World class polo teams will compete over the two days in a high octane sport, with England playing Australia on the finale of each day.

Poole Pottery Book Relaunch 12 May 2011


Saturday sees the launch of the new edition of the Poole Pottery book at the famous Poole Pottery on Poole Quay. The book's authors, Leslie Hayward and the Antique Roadshow's pottery expert Paul Atterbury will be attending and signing copies as well as a host of Poole Pottery's artists past and present.

Rockley Watersports Hosts The Annual 2011 Airline Regatta 6 May 2011


Dorset based Rockley Watersports will be hosting the 2011 Airline Regatta which will take place from 6th-7th May. This huge event, which this year has been arranged by the British Airways sailing club Silver Wing, will include staff teams from eight airlines including Lufthansa, Air Canada and Air Australia.

Stroll down Dorchester's high street and history leaps out at you from a multitude of places.
